"White Wolf is a Canadian heavy metal band from Edmonton, Alberta, led by Don Wolf. White Wolf originally formed in 1975 under the name Slamm, then changed to Warrior before settling on White Wolf. The group played locally for several years before landing a recording contract with RCA Records; their debut album, Standing Alone, was issued on the label in 1984. The band toured in Canada, the United States, Europe and Japan in support of the album. A second album, Endangered Species, was released in 1986. The album included one song which was made into a music video: "She". The group disbanded shortly after completing the album, in 1988. After a sabbatical Don Wolf and Cam MacLeod reformed the band in 2007 and released a third album with new material, Victim Of The Spotlight, later that year. They came together again for a tour of Germany that year; a concert from this tour was recorded live and released in 2008 by Escape Music as WHITE WOLF Live in Germany. As of 2016, White Wolf continues to perform occasionally at local venue "

"Hollywood Monsters was an American hard rock supergroup from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2013 by the frontman, Steph Honde, a French singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist he achieved great success in France as a guitarist. He started his musical career as the frontman of the French band Mamooth. Later Honde garnered a reputation as a guitar virtuoso when playing in the French hard rock band Café Bertrand in 2004-2010. Honde recorded two albums with Café Bertrand: Les Airs Empruntés (2005) and L'Art délicat du Rock'N'Roll (2008). He was the sole songwriter of the latter. Both albums were critically acclaimed and commercially successful. In 2010, after leaving the band Café Bertrand, Steph Honde toured with Paul Di'Anno (the original vocalist of Iron Maiden) and The Stars. In 2012 Steph Honde emigrated to California, U.S. and started working on his own project, the band Hollywood Monsters which features legendary guest musicians. Honde created the project in 2013 and is the only songwriter of the project, including the band's debut album Big Trouble. Steph Honde met Don Airey in 2006 when Honde's then-current band Café Bertrand was the opening band for the Deep Purple European leg of the Rapture of the Deep tour. Tim Bogert appreciated the demo recordings suggested to him by Steph Honde and agreed to play on three tracks of the album despite the fact he had been in retirement for several years prior to the recording of the album Big Trouble. Vinny Appice plays drums on most of the tracks on the album. Steph Honde wrote the song "Village of the Damned" as an homage to Vinny Appice before even meeting him. Paul Di'Anno (lead vocals on bonus track "Fuck You All") chose the song himself from the number of songs suggested to him by Steph Honde. They met in 2010 when Honde's then-current band The Stars accompanied Paul Di'Anno on tour across France. Hollywood Monsters were working on their third album called Thriving on Chaos. The album would have featured Steph Honde, Vinny Appice, Tim Bogert, Ronnie Robson, Danko Jones, Blitz from the band Overkill among others. Thriving on Chaos was an eleven track release; it also included a nine track bonus album titled A State of Nature, which is an acoustic album that includes songs from the earliest band's catalogue, new songs, and a few cover songs. Another bonus album called Isolated Incidents is available, and contains various demos, isolated tracks, and more. "

"SouthGang was a Los Angeles-based rock band , formed in the late 1980s. It wasn’t long before they headed to the bright lights of L.A.’s Sunset Strip and within a year of their arrival the band was headlining, garnering major label interest. Southgang had been taken under the wing of Desmond Child (after being introduced by Ratt), the legendary 80s song doctor consequently contributing a great deal to the group’s songwriting. The band's original name was Byte the Bullet, but this was changed to SouthGang before they released their first album, Tainted Angel. They had a similar style to many of the other "hair bands" of the era. The band is best remembered for their 1991 single "Tainted Angel," which received some MTV airplay, especially during Headbangers Ball. With a slamming rhythm section in bassist Jayce Fincher and drummer Mitch McLee, a wickedly wild guitarist in Butch Walker, and a powerful and wide-ranging lead singer in Jesse Harte, SouthGang seemed to have everything going for it, including aid from Desmond Child, Jeff “Skunk” Baxter (Steely Dan/Doobie Brothers), and Kane Roberts (Alice Cooper), who aided the band either during the songwriting, recording, and production processes. This was no “cookie cutter hair band” of the era, but a group that had not only big-time support, but mastery over its instruments. Plus, the musicians also had a knack for incorporating numerous surprises into each song, whether it be unexpected rhythm breaks or key changes, inventive drum, bass, or guitar fills, or the addition of a brass section, harmonica and cowbells, light Hammond organ and honky-tonk piano, acoustic and slide guitar and the aforementioned talk-box, even one instance of female background vocals, all giving SouthGang that “unpredictable factor” that set it apart from its contemporaries. And with the ultra-catchy choruses, a budding “guitar hero” in its midst, the overall energetic performances and rowdy atmosphere, and slick yet robust studio production, the band truly seemed destined for greatness. After the band's breakup in the mid-1990s, Butch Walker, Jayce Fincher, and Mitch McLee went on to form power pop band Marvelous 3, scoring a minor hit with "Freak of the Week" in 1998. "

"Jaime St. James , born January 27, 1960 is the lead vocalist and primary songwriter of the glam metal band Black 'N Blue. It was during high school that Jamie met his then-classmate and fellow musician, Thomas Cunningham Thayer who was born November 7, 1960 and is an American musician and songwriter The two created a friendship that has lasted to the present. In November 1981 James and Thayer formed Movie Star, a band that ultimately evolved into Black 'n Blue, which gave the two their first taste of mainstream success. They have now released unearthed recordings from the late 80s. Thayer and St. James issued The Lost Tapes independently and is available only through them. The Lost Tapes is aimed for the ‘diehards’ and BLACK ‘N BLUE ‘fanatics’. The album is composed of songs that were cut by Tommy Thayer and Jaime St. James after BLACK ‘N BLUE was let go by Geffen Records. St. James explained, “It’s songs that Tommy and I wrote. It’s what we started doing after Geffen [Records] had dropped us. So, we started working on some new songs to try to get another deal. GENE SIMMONS who had Simmons Records was working with us at the time, and he would have put us on his label. These recordings were originally paid for by Gene but we didn’t follow through with anything because Tommy quit the band. So once Tommy left, we owed Gene some money. Since then, Gene has given everything back to Tommy and me. He was like “It’s all yours guys. Do what you want with these recordings.” The duo performs on The Lost Tapes mostly with some appearances from BLACK ‘N BLUE bassist PATRICK YOUNG, PAT REGAN [producer and engineer] and [Portland, Oregon] guitarist JEFF LABANSKY, who had replaced JEFF WARNER. Also featured is guitarist MITCH PERRY. Labansky received co-writing credit on the track “Sweet Sensation”, one of the highlights on The Lost Tapes. With songs like, “American Man”, “Time” and “Ballad Of The Bullet”, Jaime St. James is doing something a little different here, still very much BLACK ‘N BLUE but he sounds like he’s channeling JANI LANE vocally, who ironically he’d go on to replace in WARRANT a few years later. Jaime St. James also played drums for the Kiss tribute band called Cold Gin, playing the role of Peter Criss. Tommy Thayer, was also in Cold Gin, playing the role of Ace Frehley. Jamie co-wrote one Kiss song with Gene Simmons and Scott Van Zen: "In My Head", which appeared on their album Carnival of Souls: The Final Sessions. He also served briefly in the mid-2000s as the lead singer of Warrant, but he left upon the return of the band's original lead singer Jani Lane in 2008. He sang (as well as wrote or co-wrote half of the albums tracks) on Warrant's 2006 album Born Again. Although no longer a permanent member of the band, Thayer has performed periodically with the other original members of Black 'n Blue for several one-off reunion and benefit concerts In 2003 Thayer became the lead guitarist for Kiss replacing Ace Frehley. "Texas Hippie Coalition (sometimes stylized THC) is an American heavy metal band and was formed in Denison, Texas by Big Dad Ritch, along with his friend John Exall. It's as though ZZ-Top and Pantera had a child and gave it to Lynyrd Skynyrd to raise. Pride of Texas is the first studio album and was released on February 12, 2008 Their sophomore album Rollin arrived on July 6, 2010, which was their first national release. In early 2012 the group began working with producer Bob Marlette. Their first single "Turn It Up" was released in June of that same year. Peacemaker was released on August 14, 2012, and was ranked 20 on Billboard Hard Rock Albums. In February 2014, it was announced that Ride On, the fourth studio album from the quartet is expected to be released October 7, 2014. "Ride On" has been described by the band as, "the next level," "a little more raw, a little grittier," and "our way of letting everybody know that rock 'n' roll ain't dead." On February 23, 2016, the ensemble announced that their fifth studio album, Dark Side of Black, would be released on April 22, 2016. In April and May 2016, the band was scheduled to tour in support of this work, which includes performances at Rock on the Range, Rocklahoma and River City Rockfest. In June 2016, the band announced the addition of guitarist Nevada Romo. In August 2017, Ritch announced that the ensemble plans to release their sixth studio album in 2018. On January 12, 2018, Exall announced that he and the band had parted ways, leaving Ritch as the sole original band member. In early 2018, Larado Romo, brother of guitarist Nevada Romo, joined the ensemble on bass guitar. During the first week of 2019, percussionist Timmy Braun and the band parted ways. Braun was replaced by Devon Carothers. On March 29, 2019, "Moonshine", the first single from High in the Saddle, the sixth studio album from the group, was released. At that time, the group announced that the work would be released on May 31, 2019. In 2020, Scott Lytle, former percussionist for the band from 2007 to 2008, died. On January 10, 2021, the band mutually parted ways with drummer Devon Carothers. On January 12, Locust Grove and DEITY drummer Joey Mandigo was announced as the band's new drummer. "

"Originally formed in the mid-Eighties under the band name L.A. Rocks when several demos were taped in its first attempt featured Kelly Hansen on lead vocals, guitarist Steve Dougherty (ex- Burning Rome, Berlin), bassist Chuck Wright (ex- Giuffria) and drummer Aldy Damian. Hansen took off for the band Hurricane and Chuck Wright to Quiet Riot and House Of Lords. Enter new bassist Jimmy O’Shea (ex-Cacophony) and powerhouse vocalist Jeff Scott Soto (ex-Yngwie Malmsteen) and a brand new moniker in EYES, circa 1989. Main songwriter Dougherty selected the best songs and with this line-up recorded EYES self titled debut, released in 1990. The album is full of awesome Melodic Hard Rock songs with that polished early Nineties sound production, commercial and catchy tunes plenty of hooks. The vibe is similar to Winger’s second album, Kiss (especially the song ‘Can’t Get Enough’), and even Def Leppard (‘Wired 4 Love’). Also, you can find a great version of Dianne Warren’s ‘Don’t Turn Around’, also recorded by various artists and bands. The biggest problem this album had was only timing and the fact there were 100’s of bands out there that were all the same. These guys had the sound as they had the rock anthems, they had the ballads and they had the hair!! They weren’t on a major label which probably got them lost in the shuffle. They were on Curb Records which back in those days was not a rock label. Without the major label push, they fell to the wayside and were overlooked by most Their Second album Windows Of The Soul was finally released in 1994 but recorded a couple years before. It follows the same style / sound from the debut, perhaps a bit more punchy. Jeff Scott Soto’s vocals are on full display and you can really hear how great he is, his range and his ability to hit some killer high notes. Songs like ‘Cheyenne’ and ‘Nobody Said it Was Easy’ should be considered Melodic Hard Rock classics of all time, and for sure, among Jeff Scott Soto finest moments. "

"Whiskey Myers is an American Southern rock/country group from Palestine, Texas composed of Cody Cannon (lead vocals and acoustic guitar), John Jeffers (lead guitar, vocals), Cody Tate (lead and rhythm guitar, vocals), Jeff Hogg (drums), Tony Kent (percussion/drums), and Jamey Gleaves (bass). The band started when friends Cody Cannon and John Jeffers began learning guitar together, inspired by the music of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hank Williams Jr., Waylon Jennings, amongst many other artists. After being joined by Cannon's co-worker and friend Cody Tate, they began calling themselves Lucky Southern. After playing together for a while, the three decided to start a more serious band. They enlisted friend Jeff Hogg to play drums, and asked Cannon's cousin Gary Brown to play bass (although he did not know how to play the instrument at the time). They began playing shows around their hometown and native state of Texas, slowly starting to build a following on the Texas/Red Dirt scene. In 2008, the band released their debut album, Road of Life. With their sophomore album Firewater being released in 2011, Whiskey Myers solidified themselves as a leading act on the Texas/Red Dirt scene, and have stayed on top ever since. In fact, songs like “Ballad of a Southern Man,” “Broken Window Serenade,” and “Stone” are some of the most streamed Texas/Red Dirt songs of all time. On February 4, 2014, the album, Early Morning Shakes, was released and received mostly positive reviews. In September 2016, their fourth album Mud was released. In 2018, the band was featured in four episodes of the Kevin Costner Paramount Network series Yellowstone. Shortly afterwards, the band's three available albums moved into the top 10 iTunes country chart. The album at the time, Mud, reached No. 1 on the charts, and its song "Stone" reached No. 9 in all genres. On September 27, 2019, the band released the self-titled album, Whiskey Myers. It debuted at No. 1 on Billboard Country, No. 2 on Billboard active rock, and No. 6 on the Billboard 200 Tornillo is the sixth album by Whiskey Myers. It was released on July 29, 2022. The first two songs, "Tornillo" and "John Wayne" were released on February 18, 2022. "

"CHARLOTTE is an American hard rock band that formed when vocalist Eric Ganz along with guitarists Vinnie Cacciotti and Nick DiBacco moved to L.A. in late 1986 and met up with bassist Rob Thiessen and drummer Eric Brewton. With this lineup the band took to the stages of The Whisky-a-Go-Go and The Roxy, playing alongside bands such as Warrant and Hollywood glam punk band The Zeros. Eventually the band and Rob parted ways and Chris Colovas stepped in as bass player. Rob would go on to form Canadian rock/metal band Noise Therapy in the '90s. As for Charlotte, their sound evolved into a '70s influenced, bluesy, hard rock sound. Teaming up with producer Mike Wolf (ex-guitarist for King Kobra), Charlotte recorded some of the songs that would, in time, be released on their debut album. By 1990 Charlotte was playing the Whisky, The Roxy, and FM Station on a regular basis. They began working with veteran producer Marc DeSisto (Joe Cocker, Melissa Etheridge, U2, Pink Floyd) in creating a sound more reflective of the band's roots; the 1970s rock sound. Gone was the glam image they incorporated when they formed earlier in the '80s. In reviewing one of the band's performances Stephanie Jordan, rock writer for Screamer Magazine, wrote; "Dark, esoteric, and bordering on psychotic, Charlotte proved themselves far above the competition repeatedly throughout their performance...music that actually hurts. Beautiful." Tom Farrell, after being impressed with the band's performance at Hollywood's Red Light District, wrote in Music Connection that Charlotte is 'very unusual' and does not fit into the latest trends. With DeSisto and Mike Wolf producing, the band recorded more songs at various studios in L.A. ., for their forthcoming release, Medusa Groove. However, despite interest from a couple of major labels, the album would not be released during this time. Charlotte would play their last show in 1996. In 2009 Stephen Craig, executive producer/owner of Eonian Records, contacted Charlotte and a deal was made for the 2010 release of their debut cd, Medusa Groove. The album was officially released April 20, 2010 to favorable reviews. UK rock magazine, Fireworks, says in their 2010 issue No. 40 that Medusa Groove is "..twelve re-mixed kick-ass songs." Lords Of Metal, a webzine out of the Netherlands, gave Medusa Groove Album Of The Month honors shortly after its release and Metalstorm calls the album one of the most eclectic rock albums heard in ages. In November, 2010, with Gary Meadors (Gene Loves Jezebel) on drums, Charlotte reunited for its first show together in almost 15 years, playing The Cat Club on L.A.'s Sunset Strip. "

Donnie was the leader and vocalist of .38 Special. Johnny recorded as a member of the 1980s southern rock band The Johnny Van Zant Band which released albums in 1980, 1981 and 1982. The band shortened its name to Van Zant for the release of its fourth album in 1985, the eponymous Van Zant . This album saw chart success with "You've Got to Believe in Love" and "I'm a Fighter" both of which peaked on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. However, this band did not include Donnie and was soon disbanded. Johnny released another album under his full name in 1990, but spent most of his time in that period singing for the Lynyrd Skynyrd reunion group. He joined up with Donnie, and they revived the Van Zant name to release an album in 1998, Brother to Brother Initially intended as a one-off project, Brother to Brother saw chart success in the single "Rage", so the duo followed it up in 2001 with Van Zant II for the label. This album accounted for their fourth charted rock single in "Get What You Got Comin'". In 2005, the duo crossed over into country music, releasing Get Right with the Man . The album produced a Top 10 country single in "Help Somebody", followed by the No. 16 "Nobody Gonna Tell Me What to Do" and No. 59 "Things I Miss the Most". The album also earned RIAA gold certification. Van Zant released a second album for Columbia, My Kind of Country, in 2007. This album included the singles "That Scares Me" and "Goes Down Easy", both of which failed to reach Top 40 on the country charts. . Donnie had been forced to retire from his work with 38 Special due to health problems in 2013. In 2019, Johnny stated in an interview that he and Donnie had continued to work on new music and were planning on releasing some of the work after Lynyrd Skynyrd disbanded. "

" Railway is a German hard rock band from Munich formed in in 1977 by Werner Thaller (Bass), Hasi Haslinger (Drums), Armin Köberl (Guitars), Robert Haslinger (Guitars), Walter Wicha (Vocals) These five students decided to become rock stars, and formed a band naming it RAILWAY . The name was obvious because they had their practice room in the basement of a train station. At first they played covers but over time, the desire to compose their own songs grew. It was in 1979 that the evening newspaper organized a band competition under the motto "Who is Munich's Newcomer No. 1?" More than 250 bands applied and they all had the same goal. RAILWAY took a sensational 2nd place by a margin of only 13 votes from a total of 2000 voters for 1st place. In 1980 , RAILWAY was able to support the British band THE SPECIALS . With this success behind them, the band soon gained a large fan base at concerts throughout Bavaria. The five musicians recorded their first EP "Just Imagination" in 1981 which was self-produced and financed. In 1983 , the Dutch record company Roadrunner came forward and offered a record deal for five albums. In 1984 the first long player " RAILWAY " was released with classics like " Heavy Metal Fever ", "Nightrider" and " Dirty Boys ", which sold over 10,000 copies. This was followed by a tour of Germany with the British band " TOKIO BLADE ". In 1985 the second album was released: " RAILWAY II " which exceeded the sales figures of the first album with 15,000 pieces and over the counter Songs like " Lick It, Stick It ", which is still indispensable live as an opener, and the probably most famous song " I'm A Looser ", which was played up and down every rock disco and couldn't be missing at any party. " I'm A Looser " was also on the famous, notorious "Munich city night" Tours followed with the greats of the rock business: MOTÖRHEAD , MANOWAR , RUSS BALLARD , THE SWEET , CANNED HEAT , BONFIRE , DORO etc. An absolute highlight was definitely the appearance in 1985 supporting the US band TWISTED SISTER at the Circus Krone in Munich. RAILWAY literally swept the Americans off the stage and were the talk of the day in Munich. In 1987 the third album " Climax " was released. It went on tour again, but slowly the musicians wondered where all the money was actually going. . The contracts with Roadrunner were examined more closely and RAILWAY decided to terminate the contract. In 1988 Herman Janowitz (guitar) died of cancer. A year later, RAILWAY again self-released an EP with the song " Tomorrow ". . In 1991 the 5th album " To Be Continued " was released. . The songs " Love Just For Money " and " Dreams From The Northern Light " became real classics. In 1993 the album " Welcome Tonight " was released Two years later in 1995 their last album " Persecution Mania " was released and with this album Railway said goodbye After all the years of fan mail from all countries to RAILWAY that was sent to persuade them to continue, the Haslinger brothers decided in 2004 to round up the boys from back then. However, that turned out to be more difficult than they thought. After long discussions about the sense and nonsense of a reunion, it was decided after almost 20 years to be active again with the original line-up. On November 30, 2006 Railway played a reunion show in Munich with the new guitarist Armin Köberl. "

" Born on the ruins of Vamp, Helter Skelter was glam rock band with a kooky melodic-rock feel, originally from Munich, Bavaria, Germany, that was formed in 1988 by Chris Strobl (Vocals), Cassy Kissler (Guitar), Helmut Zeiler (Bass) and Fredl Zech (Drums) , Even in the best of times most people saw them as joke figure. Like all Glam Bands from the era Helter Skelter had extreme droll gear, excessive make up and hair-spray. Their music sounds playful, quite young and still a little wobbly on the legs but was actually established in various parts. Helter Skelter released their sole album «Welcome To The World Of Helter Skelter>> in 1988. The most known song on the album would be „Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde“ called after the movie classic. Great rhythm guitar with electrifying bass and drum beats paired with the unusual, little hesitant way of singing from Chris Strobls. At this time a really big hit song and still finds airplay today! What is also quite interesting is that no song sounds the same. Every song has its peculiarities and therefore make the album very interesting. The album also spawned hits like What Are You Doing After The Show“, „Too Young To Rock“, and „Lady Of Secrets“ With all this, their music had a sense of the original - it was real party glam with lyrics about a night of fun, circuses, endless raving with beautiful girls, drinking and teenage adventures that maybe was not understood even by fans of that era. Helter Skelter safely disintegrated in 1989, leaving a single CD, reissued 20 years later, with a few bonuses. "

" Devil's Train formed In 2009 in Germany and is a Heavy Metal - Hard Rock band littered with Euro-power metal stalwarts, and features Mystic Prophecy main-man R.D. Liapakis, Stratovarius guitarist Laki Ragazas, bassist Jari Kainulainen (ex-Evergrey, ex-Stratovarius) and Jörg Michael (, ex-Running Wild, ex-Axel Rudi Pell,, ex-Saxon) on drums. This line-up, which could undoubtedly be dubbed a super-group, delivers a modern yet raw and honest album that bubbles over with visceral energy, southern sleaze and sex appeal. Liapakis said on forming the group that the idea was to ditch the complicated arrangements and overblown fantasy elements of power metal, and get back to the fundamentals, the primordial ooze of rock. The glorious results to this approach hit the ground running in 2012 with an over-the-top orgy of blazing riffs, sleaze-metal grooves and songs about playing poker with the devil and banging his sister.
